The Yokohama RY253 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle in all axle positions.
The ideal tread design improves the tire's usability. The ribbed pattern enables the tire's even pressure distribution along the tread area. The symmetric ribbed pattern ensures the tire's evenly distributed driving pressure, which actively avoids irregular wear formations. Furthermore, the tread's solid shoulder blocks prevent the tread's cracking, chipping or tearing. The self-cleaning ability ejects rocks stuck between the tread elements, before they can cause stone retention. By resisting tread damage, the tire manages to extend the tread life and the model's overall service life.
The strengthened internal structure features reinforced steel belts and a durable bead construction, which maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. The tire also manages to improve the load carrying and withstanding ability. In this manner, the tire can easily carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, without allowing the tire's shape to deform under the pressure. This results in the model's ideal load capacity, guaranteeing a safer load durability and a heavier load capacity.
The RY253 improves the fuel efficiency. The durable compound optimizes the rolling resistance with the better overall traction.
