The Yokohama Aspec A349 is a touring, summer tire manufactured for SUVs.
The tread design and summer compound increase the summer weather traction. The symmetric tread design with the optimal grip on the road surface upgrades the dry and wet weather road grip with additional biting edges. The compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area and keeps the tire pliable during its high heat performance. The tread features circumferential grooves, which disperse water from below the footprint, further enhancing the wet weather traction.
The tread design upgrades the model's controllability. The tread's close and constant surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The optimal groove pattern increases the grip on the road surface. This design manages to create friction between the tire and the road surface at the moment of braking, decreasing the tire's stopping distance and offering a safer performing ability.
