OVERVIEW

The Yokohama 902L is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tread design increases the all weather traction. The tire's wider footprint features a detailer tread pattern that upgrades the dry, wet and winter weather gripping ability. The tread's splits and closed siping detail, along with the small block and siping combinations, increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface all year round. This enables the tire to enhance the grip on versatile road surface conditions, including on ice- and snow-covered roads. These tread elements improve the tire's controllability and braking ability on harsh winter weather road satiations, enabling the driver's full control over the vehicle at all times.

The tread design also helps improve the tire's fuel efficiency. The stabilized footprint maintains the tire's surface contact throughout its performance, while the siping pattern enhances the traction. The compound also boosts the year round grip. This combination eases the driving pressure off the tire, significantly lowering the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the model, which determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake.
