Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
IMPORTANT: This item is oversized. MUST be shipped with LTL-Freight Service.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
OVERVIEW
The Yokohama 712L is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tread's detailed straight and angled siping pattern and the zigzag intermediate groove design work together to enhance the tire's grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The circumferential grooves help prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. This combination enhances the tire's year round driving safety.
The model enhances its durability with the ideal tread design and the reinforced construction. The tread's special funnel-shaped grooves actively avoid stone retention by preventing rocks from drilling into the tire's casing and shortening its service life. The stronger internal structure, on the other hand, maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. This allows the tire to securely carry and withstand heavy loads with ease while the tires are in motion. As the tire does not deform under the pressure, it ensures a secure performing capability.
The tire was manufactured using fuel saving compound. This compound blend improves the rubber flexibility and enhances the traction to ease the driving pressure off the tire during the drive. In this manner, the model lowers its rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the model, that determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake in order to keep the tires in motion. Reducing the rolling resistance decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels, guaranteeing a fuel efficient and environmentally conscious performance.
The 712L offers a longer lasting usability. The durable compound, the wider footprint and the special Stress Control Grooves work together to prevent irregular and accelerated wear formations across the tread area. The compound's wear-resistant rubber materials improve the tire's exceptional tread life by slowing the tread wear rate down. On the other hand, the tread's maintained surface contact ensures even pressure distribution along the tread area, actively preventing irregular wear formations. The Stress Control Grooves further reinforced the equal pressure circulation allowing the tire to enhance the length of the tire's tread life.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertized represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please note this is Original Equipment (O.E.) tire size only. The O.E. size is determined by the year, make, model and options of the vehicle. Original Equipment size data is the best information we currently have available to us. TireMart.com is not responsible for fitment errors. The most important aspect of purchasing a tire is its size, which cannot vary. It is buyer's responsibility to verify the tire size information. It is buyer's responsibility to verify whether a specific tire is suitable for a specific vehicle. However, this tire size may be fitted on other vehicles as well. To ensure that you are purchasing the correct tire size for your vehicle, please check the size of your currently mounted tires (locate on the tire's sidewall). The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index. If you have any questions regarding your tire size , speed rating and load index please contact us prior to purchasing and confirm with certified auto technician of any variance in speed and load index and sizes.
