Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. FEATURES AND BENEFITS
OVERVIEW
The Yokohama 709ZL is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.
The tread design and all season compound work together to boost the all weather traction. The tread design with the detailed symmetric ribbed pattern increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while the tires are in motion. This upgrades the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road during the tire's performance. The all season compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile weather conditions, from the heat of summer to colder winter temperatures. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, increasing the wet and winter traction.
The enhanced traction helps improve the model's fuel efficiency. The better grip on the road surface eases the driving pressure off the tire, enabling the tire to securely perform in versatile conditions. In this manner, the tire significantly lowers the rolling resistance, which is the driving pressure determining the vehicle's needed fuel intake to keep the tires in motion. This is especially true for free rolling axle tires, as they put additional pressure on the towing vehicle's performance. The lessened rolling resistance decreases the towing vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, promoting a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The 709ZL upgrades the tread life and usability. The lowered rolling resistance and the durable tire compound work together to slow the tread wear rate down. The reduced rolling resistance prevents driving pressure from severely affecting the tire, while the compound's wear-resistant materials decrease the wear rate. The tread's tie-bars connect the tread elements and stabilize the tread area. In this manner, the tire prevents tread flexing while the tires are in motion, enabling it to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tire's surface. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear formations, extending the service life.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please note this is Original Equipment (O.E.) tire size only. The O.E. size is determined by the year, make, model and options of the vehicle. Original Equipment size data is the best information we currently have available to us. TireMart.com is not responsible for fitment errors. The most important aspect of purchasing a tire is its size, which cannot vary. It is buyer's responsibility to verify the tire size information. It is buyer's responsibility to verify whether a specific tire is suitable for a specific vehicle. However, this tire size may be fitted on other vehicles as well. To ensure that you are purchasing the correct tire size for your vehicle, please check the size of your currently mounted tires (locate on the tire's sidewall). The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index. If you have any questions regarding your tire size , speed rating and load index please contact us prior to purchasing and confirm with certified auto technician of any variance in speed and load index and sizes.
