The Yokohama 124R is a highway terrain, all weather tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is made to be mounted on all axle positions.
The ideal tread design and the all weather compound improve versatile weather traction. The ribbed tread design can easily perform in dry, wet, and winter conditions, while the all weather compound keeps the rubber flexible in both warm and freezing temperatures. The model sports the 3MPSF symbol, which means that it can safely handle harsh winter conditions as well. The tread design can maintain forward motion even on ice- and snow-covered surfaces. On the other hand, large circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.
The ribbed tread design maintains continuous road contact, which boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Outer ribs and their strong grip upgrade cornering. This combination improves overall controllability and maneuvering during the performance. At the same time, the driver has full control over the vehicle.
The reinforced internal structure and the strong rubber compound increase load and driving durability.
