The tire promotes great all weather traction. The special siping detail and the summer weather tire compound ensure excellent dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The compound is capable of withstanding the heat of summer without excessive tread wear. However, the tire is not meant to be used in colder temperatures. The compound does not maintain its flexibility in winter conditions and it is not safe to use in such weather. Th wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire's footprint. Together the road gripping ability and hydroplaning ability ensure a safer summer weather performance.
The tread pattern features a center rib that maintains the tire's optimal road contact. The better road contact increases the steering responsiveness, driving stability and braking capability. The steering becomes quick and precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The tire's braking ability is enhanced as well, as the center rib creates friction at the moment of braking, shortening the braking distance significantly and promoting a safer driving experience.
