The Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire provides great summer weather traction. The asymmetric tread design features a dual zone pattern, and each zone corresponds with either the dry and wet weather conditions. The inner area features a higher number of sipes and more grooves to enhance the wet weather traction, while the outer area has a smoother design with large solid tread blocks to boost the dry weather performance. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. While the model has exceptional performance in summer weather situations, it is not recommended for winter weather use, as it loses its road gripping ability in colder temperatures.
The model also offers superb controllability. The specialized tire contour manages to improve the driving stability, the steering responsiveness and the cornering ability, while the unique compound boosts the braking capability. The tire's maintained road contact stabilizes the tire's structure against the driving pressure affecting the it, while the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's instructions. The outer dry area of the tread design upgrades the cornering ability as the larger tread blocks heighten the number of biting edges in such situations. The special polymer and resin tire compound increase the road grip and successfully shortens the braking distance. These enhancements ensure a safer summer weather driving experience.
