The Saffiro SF7000 is a high performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model provides superb all weather performance. The all season compound and asymmetric tread design ensure excellent dry, wet and winter weather road grip.
The model has a specialized footprint with wide circumferential grooves and numerous lateral grooves. These channel water and slush away from the footprint, effectively avoiding hydroplaning. The increased hydroplaning resistance enhances the wet weather traction and improves the overall performance year round.
The asymmetric tread of the SF7000 features a dry zone that improves the controllability. It has a continuous center rib that maintains constant road contact, which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The shoulder tread blocks increase the cornering ability and power by increasing the number of biting edges during maneuvering. The tire compound works with the enhanced all weather traction to ease the driving pressure off the tire and decrease the rolling resistance. Since the rolling resistance is what determines how much energy the vehicle needs to keep the tire in motion, decreasing it also decreases the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The lowered rolling resistance also significantly reduces uneven wear, which combined with the asymmetric design and even pressure distribution, greatly extends the tread life.
