The Presa PI14 is a touring, winter tire made to be mounted on passenger and crossover vehicles and SUVs. The special soft compound manages to absorb the shock of driving which lowers the road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin. The special directional tread design decreases the road and tread pattern heard while the tires are in motion.
The special studless computer-optimized tread design features a detailed 3D siping detail that works together with the winter weather traction to upgrade the ice and snow gripping capability. The model also actively prevents hydroplaning. The circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from beneath the footprint, guaranteeing a secure performance.
The Presa PI14’s tread design improves its controllability. The optimized continuous center rib manages to keep contact with the road surface to upgrade the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the structure is secured against the driving pressure, while the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s instructions. The directional tread pattern is capable of evenly balancing out the driving pressure along the entire tread area. This is combined with the biting edges of the siping pattern to significantly shorten the tire’s braking distance. They create friction between the tire and the road surface to ensure a stronger braking capability and a safer drive.
