The Nexen Roadian HTX RH5 is a highway, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks. Nexen offers a 65,000 mile warranty with SUV sizes. The model’s zig zag groove design promotes a shorter braking ability. It creates friction at the moment of braking, which increases the road gripping ability. The multi-sequences design cancels out the road noise while driving.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction thanks to the special 3D groove edge design. It promotes excellent dry, wet and winter weather traction in all conditions as a result. The wider circumferential and lateral tread grooves increase the wet weather traction and prevent hydroplaning in all weather. The self-cleaning nature of the tread cleans out mud and snow stuck between the tread elements to maintain the tire’s contact with the road surface.
The Nexen Roadian HTX RH5 is able to securely perform on- and off-road, as it has excellent off-road durability. Thanks to the tread pattern’s open shoulder tread blocks and larger tread elements it is capable of conquering all soft, loose and uneven road surface conditions. The better road gripping ability on these terrain surfaces is further enhanced by the prevention of stone retention. The tread design ejects rocks stuck between the tread elements and improves the all weather performance. The model has a versatile use, as it is capable of performing well both on and off-road.
