Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
OVERVIEW
The Nexen Winguard Sport is a performance and high performance, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire promotes great winter weather traction. The winter compound works together with the asymmetric tread design to enhance the model's grip on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in colder temperatures, while the tread design, with the high-density siping detail, upgrades the grip the tire has on the road. The four wide circumferential and the smaller lateral grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint, effectively resisting hydroplaning in the process. As a result, the tire is able to securely perform in winter weather conditions.
The tread design and the stronger construction increase the high speed controllability. The structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the high speed pressure, while the tread closely follows the road surface during the drive. This combination enhances the high speed steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The asymmetric tread's shoulder tread block placement boosts the maneuvering capability. The shoulder blocks heighten the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, upgrading the cornering power. The tread's high-density multi-radius siping pattern helps shorten the braking distance. These sipes create friction between the tire and the road surface at the moment of braking, decreasing the stopping distance significantly. In this manner, the tire ensures the driver's full control over the vehicle throughout the drive.
The Nexen Winguard Sport's tread design features a five-pitch variable sequence. This pattern helps lower the road and tread pattern noise heard in the vehicle's cabin during the drive. The tread generates a sound frequency which cancels out the road and tread pattern noise when they are created. This prevents road disturbances from dampening the passengers' driving enjoyment while the tires are in motion, offering a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.

To ensure that you are purchasing the correct tire size for your vehicle, please check the size of your currently mounted tires (locate on the tire's sidewall). The tire's sidewall also features the speed and load rating, indicating the speed and load capacity of the specific tire. The speed and load index can differ from the tires you currently have mounted on your vehicle up to a degree. Please check your vehicle's Owner's Manual or consult with your mechanic regarding the changes of your tire's speed rating and load index. If you have any questions regarding your tire size , speed rating and load index please contact us prior to purchasing and confirm with certified auto technician of any variance in speed and load index and sizes.
