Nankang tires are made by Nankang Rubber Tire Corp. Ltd., the oldest tire builder on Taiwan. In addition to manufacturing its own tires, it produces economy lines for other labels, including Milestar, Geostar and Provato. It exports tires to more than 100 countries, including the United States. Nankang lines are sold new in the U.S. through discount chains and independent dealers, and online. Its tires are aimed at the replacement market as economical alternatives to name brands. Its performance tires include lines rated H for speeds up to 130 miles per hour; V, up to 149; W, up to 168; and Y, up to 186.
