The Roadstone (Nexen) N9000 is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This tire has excellent dry and wet weather traction. However, it is a summer tire, and not designed for winter use as it can’t maintain that traction in colder temperatures.
This tire features four circumferential grooves as well as Z-shaped lateral grooves that avoid hydroplaning. These all help channel water away from the footprint of the tire so it can maintain its traction even on wet roads. The Z-shaped lateral grooves also provide additional biting edges for safe cornering and maneuvering.
The continuous center rib maintains the N9000’s road contact at all times. This stabilizes the tire against the driving pressures affecting it. This boosts the steering responsiveness and stability, making the tire quickly and accurately respond to the driver’s commands. It also improves the high speed stability while providing excellent road feedback. This ensures the driver can maintain control even at high speeds, making the performance safer.
