Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ZP (*) is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This tire is EV compatible. This specific tire is marked with (*) as it is the original equipment of BMW vehicles.
Summer weather traction is promoted with this model. The asymmetric tread design and special summer compound increase their dry and wet weather grip. Consistent surface contact creates traction in dry conditions, while circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning on wet roads. Stronger compound elements prevent heat build-up in summer conditions, enabling its warm temperature performance.
This model was manufactured with a reinforced internal structure, provided by the Zero Pressure technology. This construction does not allow the tire to deform under load and driving pressure after air pressure loss. In other words, the model is able to enable the tire's limited, temporary performance in case of air pressure loss. This results in a 50-mile, 50-mph performance, allowing the vehicle to not be stranded on the side of the road.
