Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

Michelin Latitude Alpin HP Tires

The Michelin Latitude Alpin HP is a performance, winter tire made for SUVs.

The tire promotes exceptional winter weather traction. The tread design's 3D active sipe placement and the stronger winter compound manage to enhance the winter weather surface grip. This combination optimizes the ice- and snow-covered surface grip throughout the tire's performance, enhancing the severe winter weather performance. The sipe placement improves the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, while the compound keeps its rubber flexibility in freezing temperatures. The ideal groove placement allows the tire to disperse water and slush from the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning and optimizing the wet weather driving safety levels.

The tread design's block placement upgrades the controllability. The tread's surface contact improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability throughout the tire's performance. This enables the tire to boost the steering response time and accuracy, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The larger road contact area improves the braking power, even when driving on ice and snow. This enables the tire to utilize the 3D active siping detail to generate friction between the tire and the road surface, shortening the braking distance. As a result, the tire guarantees the driver's control over the vehicle.

The model promotes a longer lasting usability. The precision manufacturing and the optimized design work together to increase the service life. This optimized tire footprint enhances the surface contact and enables the even pressure distribution along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular and premature wear formations, significantly lengthening the tread life.

The Michelin Latitude Alpin HP was also manufactured with the ComfortControl technology. This technology optimizes the footprint and the tread design in order to lower the road noise and vibration levels. The tread design channels the airwaves through the footprint, without allowing their contact with the tread elements. In this manner, the tire does not allow soundwave formations. The tread's close surface contact enables the tire's close surface contact. As a result, the tire absorbs the shock of driving, minimizing the road vibrations. This results in a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
