FEATURES AND BENEFITS
OVERVIEW
The Lancaster DR270 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.
The tread design upgrades the all weather traction. The symmetric tread block placement and the siping placement and groove pattern and the all season compound keeps the dry, wet and winter grip on the road surface. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, which enables the tire to improve the warmer summer and colder winter driving conditions. The siping placement enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during the drive. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, further improving the wet and winter driving safety.
The optimal traction in all weather conditions, which enables the tire to securely perform in various conditions. The tread pattern enables the tire to securely perform all year round, which eases the driving pressure off the tire. The tread design lowers the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure which regulates the vehicle's needed fuel intake. The reduced rolling resistance in turn decreases the vehicle's fuel intake and CO2 emission levels, promoting a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The DR270 utilizes the tread design and the stronger compound to elongate the usability. The stronger construction reduces the tread wear rate with the wear-resistant rubber materials. The symmetric tread design and the stabilized tread elements enable the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively prevent irregular wear formations. This combination lengthens the tread life and usability throughout the drive.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
