The Kumho Crugen HT51 is a highway terrain, all weather tire built for SUVs and light trucks. It has some touring, passenger vehicle sizes, and some commercial van sizes as well. Kumho offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with SUV sizes and a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with the light tucks sizes of this model.
The tire has excellent all weather traction, including for harsher winter conditions. Most of these tires are branded with the mountain peak and snowflake symbol that winter tires bear, as they are capable of handling more extreme weather conditions. The model also provides resistance to hydroplaning, as the zigzag-style pattern of the tread helps disperse water for a safer drive. The tire maintains its superb road grip in all weather conditions.
The symmetric tread pattern and the tread's block shape result in a longer lasting tread life. The tire wears our evenly, as the force of accelerating, braking and cornering are equally distributed along the tire's footprint.
