Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Features and Benefits:
The Insa Turbo Pirineos is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles.
Insa Turbo is a Spanish tire manufacturing brand. They create REMOLDED tires, which is a type of RETREAD. Remolded tires are made by recycling the casing of a worn-out tire by utilizing a special remolding process. During this process, the tire receives a new tread and sidewall area, which is then cured and shaped into a specific pattern and form. REMOLDED tires are not new, as it is a RETREADING technique. However, remolded tires are the closest to new tires among the retreads. REMOLDED tires are approved by the Department of Transportation and they perform as well as new tires do. Insa Turbo is an eco-friendly tire brand as they recycle worn-out tires, giving them a second lifecycle and minimizing their carbon footprint.
The tire enhances the winter weather traction. The winter compound and the directional tread design improves the ice and snow-covered surface grip. The strengthened winter compound maintains its rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. On the other hand, the high-density siping placement boosts the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, improving the ice and snow traction. The tread design's optimized circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, which significantly upgrades the wet weather performing safety.
The stronger winter traction also helps to improve the fuel efficiency. The better traction eases the pressure off the tire, minimizing its rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake levels. In other words, by lowering the rolling resistance, the tire manages to reduce the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This results in a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The ideal tread pattern helps to ensure a quiet performance. The optimal tread pattern actively channels the airwaves through the footprint, without allowing their contact with the tread elements. As a result, the road and tread pattern noise are not heard in the vehicle's cabin. Road disturbances do not ruin the passengers' driving enjoyment, which provides a comfortable performing capability.
The Insa Turbo Pirineos also improves the controllability. The tread design's surface contact boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, ensuring the driver's control over the vehicle. The tread design's surface contact upgrades the steering response time and accuracy, while also securing the structure against the driving pressure. This allows the driver to maintain their control over the vehicle at all times.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
