The Hankook Dynapro HT is a highway terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks. This model has some commercial van sizes available and has some touring, passenger vehicle sizes as well. Hankook offers a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty with light truck and commercial van sizes and a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with passenger and SUV sizes.
The tire helps to improve its all season traction with the LPAH compound and the detailed tread design. This special compound optimizes the rubber flexibility in summer and winter conditions. The snow sipes and multi-depth lateral lugs provide additional biting edges in order to increase the grip on the road surface in dry, wet, and winter conditions. Four wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet traction by avoiding hydroplaning.
Maintaining the surface contact greatly enhances the controllability. The high-stiffness center rib and the interconnecting tread elements improve the road contact at all times, boosting the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The Hankook Dynapro HT increases the damage resistance as well. The reinforced under-tread compound features a protective layer, which works together with the high-tensile strength sidewall rubber. They allow the tire to enhance the pressure circulation across the tread area, preventing irregular and premature wear formations. They also effectively protect the tire from tread and casing damage, further boosting the service life.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
