The tire has great all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather thanks to the tread pattern and the tire compound. The special compound used in the tire's manufacture features an adhesive compound that provides its high gripping ability. The tread design's wide circumferential grooves avoid dangerous hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. In this manner, the tire is safer to use year round.
The tread design's center rib is responsible for the longer lasting tread life and the reduced road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin. The center rib evenly distributes the driving forces across the tread area, which prevents irregular wear patterns from forming.
