FEATURES AND BENEFITS
OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Fuel Max LHD 2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles.
The model guarantees great year-round traction by using the compound and the ribbed tread design. The tread design, with the sipping detail, allows the tire to increase the road grip with extra biting edges. Durable compound elements enhance the tire's summer and winter performance by keeping the rubber flexible. The tire is also marked with the 3PMSF symbol, which means that it is able to handle harsh winter weather conditions. Two wide circumferential grooves improve the hydroplaning resistance, as they disperse water and slush from below the footprint. This combination significantly boosts the dry, wet, and winter grip.
This model promotes great controllability. The ideal tread design and the symmetric tread pattern optimize the surface contact at all times. In this manner, the tire enhances steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's command, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The closed shoulder tread design helps to balance miles, which further improves diving safety levels.
The strong durable construction is utilized to maintain the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. The construction does not deform, under heavy loads. In this manner, the tire is able to securely carry and withstand large loads for longer periods of time. This tire ensured heavy-duty commercial applications.
The Goodyear Fuel Max LHD is a fuel-conscious model. A better grip on the road surface eases the driving pressure off the tire, which significantly lowers the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the tire, which determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and offers a fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
