General G-MAX AS-05 Tires
The General G-Max AS-05 is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for performance vehicles. The design features a Replacement Tire Monitor and Visual Alignment Indicators. The RTM notifies the driver when the tires need to be replaced. The VAI shows whether the vehicle’s alignment is in line or not and allows the driver to correct it before uneven wear patterns are formed on the tread.
The all season tire compound and the asymmetric tread design provide superb all weather traction without sacrificing its high speed performance. The large shoulder tread blocks located on the tire’s shoulders increase the all weather road grip. The high silica compound and the tread design boost the hydroplaning resistance as the circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint.
The General G-Max AS-05 was manufactured with the SmartGrip Technology and the Stabilitread Technology to ensure a safer driving experience. The center rib of the tread design keeps the tire’s road surface contact which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This allows the tire to perform well and respond quickly to the driver’s commands even at high speeds. The Stabilitread provides a flat tire footprint that lowers the tread stress. This not only stabilizes the tire against the driving pressure, but also extends the tread life by evenly distributing the driving pressure along the tread area. In this manner, the model prevents irregular tread wear formations along the tread area.
