The Firestone Firehawk AS is a high performance, all season tire made for performance vehicles. The asymmetric tread pattern design and the silica-based L. L. Carbon compound, enhances the all weather traction. The numerous circumferential and lateral grooves increase the water dispersing ability to ensure excellent resistance to hydroplaning and an improved wet weather traction.
The model offers an elongated tread life. The heightened number of full-depth sipes prevent irregular tread wear from forming across the tread area. This is made possible as the tread design is optimized to spread the driving pressure out across the entire surface area. The provided longer lasting tread life and usability ensure a safer driving experience.
The Firestone Firehawk AS’s internal structure features reinforced twin steel belts strengthened with a polyester body casing. This construction improves the tire’s handling and high speed durability. They maintain the ideal tire shape under the high speed driving pressure affecting the model. As the ideal shape does not deform under the high speed pressure, it can perform at its utmost high speed capability. This also enables the tire to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability as it keeps the tire’s constant road contact. This ensures a safer high speed performing capability.
