The Firestone Champion Hydro ND is an all season tire made for agricultural vehicles. This model is specially designed for irrigation systems. It features a non-directional tread pattern with lugs placed at a zero degree. This significantly improves the tire’s soft traction in various loose terrain situations. It eases pressure off the terrain surface, leaving fully intact soil behind instead of loosening it up.
The tire boasts an outstanding self-cleaning ability, due to the open shoulders and the wide spacing between the lugs. In fact, each of the lugs is slightly wider towards the tread center. It even has a square shape at the end that collects the mud and channels it away from the center. Either way, the mud or slush is guaranteed not to stay on the footprint for long.
