Features and Benefits:
The Firestone FS567 is a highway terrain, all season tire created for commercial vehicles. This model is designed for all the available axles on the commercial vehicle.
This model promotes an unbeatable year-round performance. The symmetric tread design utilizes five ribs and four zigzag grooves for better traction and a stronger grip with the road surface. The tread has a high number of biting edges to utilize that ensure constant traction in wet, dry, and snowy weather conditions. The adaptable rubber blend guarantees flexibility in varying temperatures. This way, the tire can perform at its top in a wide range of weather conditions. This model promotes outstanding self-cleaning ability with its four circumferential grooves that channel water and slush away from the footprint.
Due to the wide and flat tread, the tire greatly enhances the vehicle's controllability. The symmetrical tread utilizes the zigzag grooves for better surface contact throughout the drive. With optimized road contact, the load and driving pressure are always evenly distributed across the tread. This results in enhanced driving stability, which in turn makes the vehicle easier to control. The driver can rely on quick and precise steering responses while commanding the vehicle during the drive. With the extra-wide shoulder ribs, the tire handles the forces of braking, cornering, and acceleration as well.
The Firestone FS567 features a special rubber compound that resists tread wear. It not only ensures that the tread wears down at a slow pace, but also prevents irregular wear formations. It does that by evenly distributing pressure between the ribs so that there is no pressure accumulation at any point. Since it promotes a wide, ribbed tread design, the tire can seamlessly maintain constant contact with the asphalt. All these features extend the model's service life by preventing premature wear formations.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to TireMart.com by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
