Small holes are strategically placed across the tread area where metal or rubber studs can be inserted. When added, these studs work to provide additional biting edges during the tire’s performance, boosting the ice and snow grip.
The directional pattern’s stability allows the tire to increase the controllability. The better road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability during the performance. The sipe pattern with the 3 Canyon Sipe technology enables the tire to generate friction. As a result, it significantly shortens the overall braking distance, boosting the performance in severe winters.
The Falken Winterpeak F-ICE1 offers exceptional severe winter weather traction. The stabilized directional tread design features a high-density sipe pattern which consists of 3D Canyon sipes. As a result, the tire manages to boost the grip on the road surface by providing additional biting edges to grip the ice- and snow-covered road surface. The stronger 4D Nano Design compound keeps the rubber flexibility throughout the performance.
