Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Winter weather traction
  • Better ice and snow grip
  • Enhanced controllability
  • Upgraded maneuvering
  • Road Hazard Warranty offered by Falken

OVERVIEW

The Falken Espia EPZ II SUV is a touring, winter tire manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles.

Falken offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Falken's road hazard covers the first 3/32nds of the tire's tread life or 2 years from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty is honored if the damage is unrepairable per the USTMA puncture repair guidelines. Additional restrictions and fees may apply.

The tire promotes great winter weather performance by utilizing the detailed directional tread and the winter compound. This combination allows the tire to conquer various winter conditions with ease. The tire is kept pliable even in freezing temperatures thanks to the durable compound materials. On the other hand, the optimal tread design greatly enhances the gripping power. Wider circumferential grooves and the directional pattern effectively disperse water and slush from the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning in wet conditions.

This model is a true winter model. Even without the use of studs, the detailed tread elements manage to upgrade the ice and snow grip. The 3D canyon sipes provide the necessary number of biting edges to prevent slipping on icy road surfaces. The tread's wide lateral grooves enhance the snow traction by providing deep pockets for the outer shoulder to pack snow into the tread. This boosts snow-on-snow traction, improving performance.

Using the optimized tread design enables the tire's consistent surface contact. The constant road contact and the better winter traction helps to upgrade the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire manages to enhance the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands. It also significantly secures structural stability throughout the performance, further preventing loss of traction in winter conditions.

The Espia EPZ II SUV boosts its maneuvering capability. The larger shoulder blocks, and their detailed sipe pattern, help to enhance the cornering ability. They provide extra biting edges during cornering, ensuring the driver's control over the vehicle. Braking is also increased. The 3D canyon sipe pattern greatly decreases the stopping distance. These elements generate friction when braking, optimizing the performance on ice- and snow-covered surfaces. This significantly minimizes the possibility of the tire's slipping

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
