The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. The model offers a longer lasting tread life. The non-directional tread pattern allows the tire to be rotated even when on staggered vehicles, while it ensures even pressure distribution during the drive. This combination ensures a slower and even tread wear rate, which extends the tread life.
The tire grips the road well in dry and wet conditions. The compound and summer tread pattern increase the road gripping ability in the warmer months. The tire, however, is not recommended for use in winter weather, as the compound loses its excellent traction in colder temperatures. The wide grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the footprint.
The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT has exceptional performing abilities. Its internal structure features the hybrid jointless band that maintains the tire shape under the high speed driving pressure. This same technology also helps prevent flat spotting in case the vehicle is parked for a longer period of time. The better road contact area and the flatter tire footprint increase the model’s steering responsiveness and braking ability. The constant road contact allows the tire to quickly and accurately respond to the driver’s commands, while also providing superb road feedback. The better footprint shortens the braking distance by creating friction at the exact moment of braking.
