Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
OVERVIEW
The Cosmo CT512 Plus is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model is specifically made for the vehicle's steer axle.
This tire comes with reinforced internal construction that keeps the tire in its optimal shape while under larger loads. The tire does not deform under pressure, promoting a phenomenal carrying and withstanding capability. The tread, on the other hand, balances out load and driving pressure in order to avoid pressure build-up in one spot. This prevents the tire from deforming in heavy-duty conditions and allows it to perform well in commercial applications.
The detailed tread ribs firmly grip the road while in motion, providing a high number of biting edges. The sipe placement with shoulder notches greatly increases the overall handling power, enabling the tire to respond faster and more precisely to the driver's instructions. In this manner, the driver is able to control the vehicle with confidence throughout all seasons. It promotes a better and safer year round driving experience.
The Cosmo CT512 Plus utilizes its all season compound materials and detailed tread ribs to perform well throughout the year. The detailed tread ribs optimize the model's driving surface contact and improve the traction in dry, wet, and snow-covered roads. The compound keeps the rubber flexible in various weather conditions, enhancing the tread's traction in different temperatures. The circumferential grooves channel water and slush away from the footprint in order to avoid hydroplaning in rainy and snowy weather conditions.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertized represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
