With the 3D micro siping technology, this tire can provide the traction one needs for a year-long touring experience. Traction greatly contributes to the stability of the vehicle, making it safer in snowy and rainy conditions as well. 3D micro siping basically locks the tread elements together, making the structure stronger and increasing surface contact at the same time.
What makes the tire quiet and comfortable is its tread design. With CAD technology, it is easier than ever to precisely shape the tread of a touring tire. Since it is precise and symmetrical, vibrations and noise are also minimized while tread contact is maximized. The center and shoulder ribs increase stability, further contributing to comfort and an overall relaxed driving experience .
The evenly distributed driving pressure also means that tread wear rate is minimized. This is also thanks to the tire's ribbed tread which is optimized for better usability. Its precisely shaped ribs are great for preventing premature or irregular wear in the long term. By creating it with the CAD technology, they have not only made the tire more comfortable but also more durable.
