The model’s SSR, or Self-Supporting Run flat, technology improves its performance. It maintains the ideal tire shape under the weight of the vehicle and its passengers in case of air pressure loss. This allows the tire to be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. This prevents the vehicle from being stranded on the side of the road. Run flat tires cannot be mixed with regular tires, due to their heavier construction.
