The tire improves the winter weather performance. The detailed siping placement along the asymmetric tread design and the winter compound improve the winter weather, ice and snow traction. The high-density siping pattern across the tread area generates friction in winter weather situations, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in freezing temperatures. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a secure wet weather performance.
The detailed tread design also improves the controllability. The asymmetric tread's surface contact enables the tire to enhance the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The better road contact enables the tire to promote a quicker and more precise steering response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The siping placement also generates friction at the moment of braking. These sipes generate friction between the tire and the road surface, greatly shortening the braking distance. This combination promotes durable handling.
