The tire's detailed tread ribs and optimized compound materials are ready for summer weather performance. The tread ribs provide superb traction on dry and wet roads with better road contact. The compound prevents heat build-up in high temperature conditions. The circumferential and lateral groove placement disperses water from the footprint, preventing it from blocking the road. This maximizes the driving surface contact all the time and actively resists the risk of hydroplaning on wet road surfaces.
The optimal tread elements work together with the lighter compound to provide a fuel efficient driving experience. The tire is able to lower the rolling resistance, the force that determines how much energy is needed to maintain a constant forward motion.
