Commercial Drive Position Tires

Commercial Tires - Drive Position

Drive axle tires are manufactured to be mounted on the drive or torque axle, at the truck’s rear. Their primary task is to provide the vehicle with the needed traction in versatile weather. This is ensured by their aggressive tread design, which enhances the surface grip.

The tread’s constant surface contact helps improve the vehicle’s controllability, as the tire accurately responds to the steering axle’s instructions. The optimized all weather traction eases the driving pressure off the tire, which helps the steering axle tires to greatly lower the vehicle’s needed fuel consumption.
