Taurus is a traditional European tire brand that was founded in Hungary back in 1882. They committed to the brand later in 1913 and then got the logo as well in 1923. In 1973, they got to the point where the brand got applied to all of their available products. That year, the company got renamed to Taurus Hungarian Rubber Works. In 1996, the brand was sold to one of the biggest tire manufacturing groups, but kept its name. It wasn’t until 2013 that they started to manufacture tires for passenger cars. The brand has plenty of models to offer to commercial trucks and trailers as well.
