The Bridgestone DriveGuard is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles. It has some high performance sizes too. The optimal tread design and durable all season compound improve the dry, wet, and winter weather traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. The temperature flexibility ensures the tire’s performing capability in various weather conditions.
The tire is a run flat model. It can be driven for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph in case of air pressure loss. This allows the tire to be driven on for a limited temporary time, enabling the driver to safely arrive to a location where the tire can be fixed or changed. Run flat tires cannot be mixed with regular tires on the same vehicle.
The Bridgestone DriveGuard features an asymmetric tread pattern which improves the controllability. The better road contact of the asymmetric tread design enables the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The optimal shoulder tread blocks boost the cornering and maneuvering capability. These blocks enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the year, enabling the driver’s full control over the vehicle.
