The Blackhawk BAM99 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It is designed to be mounted on all axle positions.
The tire guarantees all weather traction. The ribbed tread pattern and the all season compound boost dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. In other words, the optimal tread pattern is able to maintain road contact during the performance, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in summer and winter temperatures. Hydroplaning resistance is provided as well. The zigzag grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint in wet situations.
The ribbed tread design enhances controllability. This tread design closely follows the road surface at all times, boosting steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result,t it increases steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. On the other hand, the outer ribs increase the number of biting edges, upgrading cornering and maneuvering during the drive. This enables the driver’s full control over the vehicle at all times, which guarantees a safe driving experience.
The model is able to significantly lengthen the tire’s service life. The tread pattern and the rubber compound resist irregular and premature wear formations. In this manner, the tread pattern can evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area, while the special silica compound slows the treadwear rate down. The Blackhawk BAM99 increases its load and driving durability. The strengthened internal structure and the special silica compound enable the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
