For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. The Barkley BL610 is a highway terrain, all season tire created for commercial vehicles. It can be used on all axle positions of the vehicle.
The advantage of the symmetrical tread design is that it evenly distributes road pressure and driving pressure. The 5-rib tread design with the elevated shoulders forms a tread where the ribs are all on the same level. This means a flat tread footprint that counters irregular wear, leading to a much longer tread life. The round shoulders further increase the tire's longevity, as they greatly reduce the chance of ripping and tearing. The tire structure holds its shape pretty well during cornering and braking as well.
The zigzag grooves on this tire are responsible for stability and maneuverability, among other things. This already guarantees for a safer driving experience, as the 5-rib tread design indeed makes it easier to maximize and maintain road contact. Its flatness and tread pattern both improve the steering responsiveness of the tire while giving a huge boost to its traction.
Hydroplaning resistance is achieved with the four zigzag grooves. These together with the lateral sipes in-between are designed to channel the water away in rainy or slushyy weather. The grooves are designed to be wide and deep enough to provide enough space for the water to flow away while the ribs are in contact with the asphalt. This is how the Barkley BL610 is able to maintain all season traction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
