The Armstrong ADR1 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for the drive axle of commercial vehicles. The symmetric tread design and the all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road grip. This tread pattern increases the number of biting edges, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures. The optimal groove placement avoids hydroplaning.
The tire promotes a longer tread life. The symmetric ribbed tread block placement evenly distributes the driving pressure along the entire tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular wear formations across the tread area. The durable compound, on the other hand, decreases the tread wear rate.
