Amerityre was initially a developer of polyurethane formulas and it was founded back in 1996. Their licenses were available among tire manufacturers. Later, they have changed the company name to American Tire Company and they continued producing their own formulas. In the early 2000’s, they have developed their own polyurethane tire for cars. It was the first such model that successfully passed DOT testing. Right now, they have more than 300 different tires and tire plus wheel assembly variations to offer. The brand is the number one flat fee tire distributor in the U.S.
