For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. The Achilles Desert Hawk H/T 2 is a highway terrain, summer tire made for SUVs. It also has some high performance sizes for SUVs, some touring sizes for passenger vehicles, and some highway terrain, commercial van sizes. Achilles offers a 60,000 mile warranty with new tires.
The tire has great summer weather traction thanks to the tread design and the silica-based tire compound. The silica in the compound enhances the wet weather traction, along with the four circumferential grooves that disperse water from below the tire footprint. The water evacuating ability also boosts the hydroplaning resistance, which makes driving the tire in rain safer. The model is not meant to be used in winter weather conditions, as it will not maintain its excellent road gripping ability in the colder winter temperatures.
The model is extremely easy to handle. The large shoulder blocks maintain road contact at all times, which increases the steering responsiveness and stability. This promotes a quick and precise steering responsiveness to the driver's instructions. The directional stability is also upgraded with the solid center grip and the interlocking tread blocks. They stabilize the tire during the drive, which ensures a stable driving experience.
The Desert Hawk H/T 2 also offers good cornering and braking abilities.
