The Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Uniroyal offers a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design's lateral notches and grooves firmly grip the road surface throughout the year, while the compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures. The tread's circumferential and lateral grooves actively disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint, which effectively resists hydroplaning. The enhanced hydroplaning prevention and excellent all weather traction ensure a safer year round performance.
The tire was manufactured with a computer optimized tread design. As a result, the tread features tread elements that channel the airwaves through the tire's footprint without allowing them to come into contact with the tread. In this manner, the tread lowers the road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin. The optimal road contact enables the tire to closely follow the road surface, absorbing the road vibrations. This decreases the road vibrations felt while the tires are in motion. The reduced road noise and vibration levels guarantee a comfortable and quiet driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
