The Taskmaster TTT668 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
All weather traction is guaranteed with this tire model. The symmetric ribbed tread design with the siping and notch pattern, and the all season compound enhance the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The durable all season compound upgrades the rubber flexibility in summer and winter weather conditions, while the tread's detail firmly grips the road surface at all times with extra biting edges. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, further upgrading the wet weather driving safety levels.
The tire features a reinforced steel belt and polyester cord body structure to upgrade the durability. These structural elements greatly improve the load carrying and withstanding ability, as they prevent the tire's deformation under the load and driving pressure. This greatly upgrades the load capacity. The strengthened internal structure's ideal shape and close surface contact allow the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This boosts the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. These greatly enhance the controllability throughout the performance.
The TTT668 also utilizes the all season compound in order to ease the driving pressure across the tread area. This allows the tire to significantly lower the rolling resistance while the tires are in motion. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the towing vehicle's fuel intake levels in order to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance, the tire is able to decrease the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. As a result, the tire promotes a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertized represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
