For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. The Nexen Winguard Ice Plus is a touring, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire promotes exceptional winter traction even without the use of studs. The directional tread design and the winter compound enhance the ice and snow traction in winter weather conditions. The directional pattern's surface contact and the high-density siping placement enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the tire's winter weather performance. The compound, on the other hand, maintains its rubber flexibility even in freezing temperatures. The circumferential and the angled lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. This optimizes the wet weather performance and guarantees high driving safety levels during the drive.
The tread design also boosts the winter weather controllability. The high-density siping placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, but they also enhance the braking power on ice- and snow-covered road surface conditions. The sipes create friction between the tire and the road surface in order to upgrade the braking power and shorten the tire's braking distance. The directional tread design's continuous center rib maintains the surface contact during its performance. In this manner, the tire improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
