Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.

Michelin Primacy A/S

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • All weather traction
  • Enhanced controllability
  • High driving comfort levels

OVERVIEW

The Michelin Primacy A/S is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Michelin offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty.

The model promotes great all weather traction. The all season tire compound and the symmetric ribbed tread pattern upgrades the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The symmetric ribbed pattern features a detailed siping and groove design that increases the grip on the road surface. The all season tire compound enhances the rubber flexibility in various weather The tread pattern's wide groove pattern upgrades the hydroplaning ability by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This combination boosts the tire's year round driving safety levels.

The tread pattern upgrades the controllability. The tread's symmetric ribbed pattern maintains the road surface contact to increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The ribbed pattern ensures the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tread's closed shoulder pattern increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, which enhance the cornering and maneuvering capability. The lateral grooves and the siping detail work together to create friction between the tire and the road surface, which upgrades the braking power and decreases the braking distance. As a result, the driver has better control over the vehicle in all conditions.

The Primacy A/S promotes a comfortable driving experience. The tread design's shoulder tread block placement forms a closed rib which decreases the road noise levels. This pattern prevents airwaves from entering the footprint and coming into contact with the tread elements, which avoidS the formation of road and tread pattern noise. This reduces the road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin during the drive. The flat footprint and optimal internal structure closely follow the road surface. This enables the tire to successfully absorb the shock of driving while the tires are in motion, which prevents vibrations felt by the passengers. In this manner, the tire promotes a quiet and enjoyable drive.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
