The Hankook Kinergy GT HRS RSC is a touring, all season tire made to be mounted on passenger vehicles. The tire was designed with the Hankook RunFlat Technology (HRS) and the Runflat Safety Component (RSC) to ensure this capability. When air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or other damage, the tire can still be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph.
The silica-infused tire compound and the special symmetric tread design improve the tire’s grip on dry, wet and winter weather road surfaces. The silica in the tire’s compound manages the keep the tire pliable in different temperatures, including winter weather situations. They eliminate water and slush from the footprint and keep the ideal road contact for an enhanced wet and winter weather traction.
The Hankook Kinergy GT HRS RSC boosts the controllability. The ideal wider footprint and the reinforced internal structure work together to improve the tire’s contact with the road surface. The better contact with the road upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. They maintain the ideal tire shape under the driving pressure and boost the structure’s stability, while the optimal footprint increases the steering response time and accuracy. The tread stiffness helps enhance the braking ability. The tire shortens the braking distance with the friction it creates between the tire and the road surface.
