FEATURES AND BENEFITS
OVERVIEW
The GT Radial GTL922FS is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted for the trailer axle.
The tire promotes a fuel efficient drive. The fuel saving compound increases the all weather traction, while also reducing the heat build-up along the tread area. By ensuring the excellent traction and the heat resistance work together to ease the driving pressure affecting the model, which reduces the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure determining the vehicle's needed fuel intake to keep the tires in motion. The lessened rolling resistance lowers the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, promoting a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
The tread design manages to increase the usability and the damage resistance. The symmetric ribbed tread design manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. The model, in this manner, avoids uneven wear formations across the tread area. The groove bottom with the diamond shaped design avoids stone retention. These tread elements eject rocks stuck between the tread elements, preventing them from drilling into the tread area and harming the casing. This combination enables the tire to improve the tread life and the model's usability.
The GTL922FS improves the overall handling. The tread design's symmetric ribbed pattern closely follows the road surface at all times, which increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise to the towing vehicle's instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. As a result, upgrades the controllability to ensure the driver's full control over the entire vehicle.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
