The Firestone CV 5000 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vans.
The tire offers great year-round traction with the durable compound blend and detailed tread design. Their combination helps to upgrade its dry, wet, and winter-weather grip. The sipe placement generates additional biting edges, which firmly grip the road surface throughout the performance. On the other hand, the compound's stronger rubber materials keep the tire pliable throughout the year. Hydroplaning is avoided as circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint.
The symmetric tread design and the stronger rubber compound work together to boost the model's overall service life. Footprint stability allows the tire to evenly circulate driving pressure across the tread area, by combating tread flexing. The wear-resistant rubber materials effectively decrease the treadwear rate. Slow and even wear along the footprint significantly increases the tire's usability.
The Firestone CV 5000 features a reinforced internal structure. The strengthened internal structure maintains the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As a result, the tire is able to securely carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. Its secure heavy-duty performance is ensured.

As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertized represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
